We are a New Testament Christian Church,
Baptist is practice. Bringing "Old Time Religion"
to an "Old Time" setting.
The Church
Reverend Tim Jones was inspired to build a church with "old
fashioned" biblical values and principals. When he went
to visit Goldfield Ghost Town, he knew that this was the perfect
place to implement a return to "Old Time Religion".
After meeting with the mayor of Goldfield and receiving his
blessing, Reverend Jones asked his small congregation of four
families to sacrifice their spare time and energy and build
an "old time" church to glorify God. With the help
of the mayor and a few other people, this small group built
a replica of this old Colorado church, which was built in
the late 1800's. The new vintage building is complete with
an organ from the 1880's, a pulpit that was once a pipe organ
in the famous Hammond Theatre, pews built in 1931 in the style
of the late 1800's, chandeliers made from old wagon wheels,
and a rough hewn wooden cross.

Worship Services
The church was completed and opened for public worship services
in November 2003. Worship services begin at 11:00 a.m. on
Sunday mornings and are centered on basic teachings from the
bible in a New Testament Christian church environment, complete
with old time hymns like "The Old Rugged Cross".
